Assistant Manager, Risk Policy
As an Assistant Manager in Risk Policy at Grab Financial Group (GFin), you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining risk management policies that align with our strategic objectives and regulatory standards. This role is pivotal in driving enterprise-wide risk initiatives to bolster our risk posture and support sustainable business growth. You will report to the Senior Manager of Risk Policy and be based onsite at our office.
Your primary responsibilities will include serving as the subject matter expert for fraud risk policies related to payments and lending products. You will initiate regional policy initiatives and frameworks aimed at mitigating risks across new projects or enhancements to existing offerings. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will implement risk mitigation techniques and controls, configure and optimize fraud detection rules, and conduct comprehensive monitoring and forensic analysis to provide data-driven feedback on portfolio performance.
The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in the payments or lending sectors, with practical knowledge of fraud tools, systems, and models. Proficiency in fraud risk platforms and controls, as well as hands-on experience with SQL, is essential. Strong problem-solving skills, a positive professional attitude, and the ability to navigate fast-changing, unstructured environments are also required.
