Android Developer (Hybrid - Malaga)
Betsson Group is seeking an experienced Android Developer to join their dynamic team in Málaga. This role offers the opportunity to work in a brand-new Tech Hub located by the Mediterranean Sea, contributing to the development of high-traffic applications that reach a global audience. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with some of the industry's top talents in a supportive and multicultural environment.
The Android Developer will be responsible for building new products and features using the latest technologies, actively contributing to a state-of-the-art native platform supporting Betsson's core brands. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining native Android applications in Kotlin, consuming RESTful APIs, and participating in a self-leading Agile team with responsibilities ranging from DevOps pipeline to production monitoring and support. The role also involves close collaboration with UX designers, QA engineers, data analysts, and other area teams to ensure the success of the products.
Candidates should possess expertise in Kotlin and Android's native frameworks, along with experience in Firebase tools such as Analytics, Crashlytics, Firestore, Remote Configuration, Cloud Messaging, and In-App Messaging. A strong data-driven approach with excellent knowledge in structuring in-app tracking is essential. Proficiency in RESTful APIs, Postman, GitHub pipeline setup, and the ability to design and implement clean, scalable, and high-quality code with unit testing experience are also required. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of software architecture, be a team player, and have experience in Agile development, as well as coaching and mentoring other developers.
