Android Developer

In this position, the Android Developer will be responsible for building new products and features using the latest technologies, actively contributing to a state-of-the-art native platform that supports Betsson's core brands. The role involves working within a self-leading Agile team, handling everything from DevOps pipeline management to production monitoring and support. Collaboration with UX designers, QA engineers, data analysts, and other teams is essential to ensure the delivery of high-quality products that meet customer needs. The developer will also participate in discussions throughout the value chain to contribute to the success of the products.
The ideal candidate should have expertise in Kotlin and be proficient in Android's native frameworks. Experience with Firebase tools, including analytics, Crashlytics, Firestore, remote configuration, cloud messaging, and in-app messaging, is highly desirable. A data-driven approach with excellent knowledge in structuring in-app tracking is important. Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Postman, GitHub pipeline setup, and the ability to design and implement clean, scalable, and high-quality code with unit testing experience are required. Strong problem-solving skills, good software architecture knowledge, teamwork, Agile development experience, and the ability to coach and mentor other developers are also essential.
