Analyst, Portfolio Finance
The Analyst, Portfolio Finance at Arevon plays a crucial role in supporting new financing activities and overseeing the capital structure across the company's operating portfolio. This position involves extensive collaboration with various internal teams, including Development, Project Finance, Asset Management, Tax, and Accounting, to ensure the financial health and growth of Arevon's renewable energy projects.
Key responsibilities include supporting financing activities such as capital raises, debt term conversions, refinancings, tax equity partnership restructuring, and asset divestitures. The Analyst will assist in maintaining financial tracking models, coordinating due diligence logs, managing consultant reports, and handling third-party documentation requests. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with internal teams to manage ongoing financing requirements and maintaining relationships with financial investors and portfolio teams during construction and operations.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Engineering, with up to three years of experience in the renewable energy industry, utilities sector, or portfolio finance. A proven track record of working well within a team environment, taking ownership of processes and procedures, and demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills is essential. Attention to detail, the ability to meet realistic deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint are also required. Understanding of tax-equity structures and partnership tax principles or experience with distributed generation projects is considered a plus.
