Analyst, Deal Desk
AlphaSense is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Deal Desk Analyst to join our Revenue Operations team. This role involves partnering with Account Executives and Account Managers to facilitate the execution of key deals, including building quotes, executing contracts, and reviewing redlines. The ideal candidate will have experience in a deal desk role within a SaaS company.
Key responsibilities include assisting sales teams in designing quotes and contracts, including product bundling and multi-year "ramp" deals. The analyst will serve as the primary gatekeeper for non-standard terms, ensuring all necessary stakeholders sign off on exceptions. Additionally, the role involves enforcing policies regarding discounting levels, revenue recognition standards, and legal liability, as well as training sales representatives on tools like Salesforce CPQ and Ironclad.
Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in deal desk or contract management within a SaaS or technology environment. A strong understanding of B2B commercial contracts and deal structures is essential. Proficiency with CRM systems such as Salesforce, CPQ tools, and contract management systems like Ironclad or DocuSign CLM is required. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills are also necessary.
The base compensation for this role ranges from $67,000 to $84,000 USD. Additional components may include a performance-based bonus, equity, and a generous benefits program.
