Accountant (9 months Employment)
Teads is seeking an experienced Accountant for a 9-month position in Bucharest. This role is integral to our financial operations, focusing on high-quality data management using NetSuite and providing essential support to the Head of Finance CEE. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of accounting experience and thrive in a tech-forward, international environment.
Key responsibilities include maintaining and updating the general ledger to ensure accuracy and compliance with local standards, managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes within NetSuite, and assisting in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing procedures. The role also involves performing detailed bank reconciliations, monitoring daily cash flow, preparing mandatory tax filings (such as VAT, VIES, SAF-T), and ensuring compliance with Romanian fiscal regulations. Additionally, the accountant will support the Head of Finance CEE with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting, and continuously optimize NetSuite workflows to enhance departmental efficiency.
Candidates should possess 3–5 years of solid accounting experience, proven proficiency in NetSuite ERP (mandatory) and advanced Excel skills, and a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CECCAR certification is a plus. Fluency in English is essential for daily collaboration with international stakeholders. The role requires an analytical mindset, proactivity, and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid, fast-paced setup.
