02.Senior Backend Engineer

PayPay India is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to enhance our payment system, delivering an exceptional experience to our customers. As part of our dynamic team, you'll contribute to the development of large-scale, high-throughput applications within a diverse and innovative environment.

In this role, you'll design complex systems to support our high-volume applications, leveraging infrastructure to solve large-scale challenges. Your responsibilities include developing tools, contributing to open-source projects, and adopting a problem-solving approach to identify root causes and support your code in production.

The ideal candidate has over six years of experience with excellent skills in Java and proficiency in another programming language such as Scala, Python, or Go. A strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming is essential, along with experience in SQL and NoSQL databases, distributed caching, concurrency, and distributed computing. Familiarity with microservices architecture and designing high-traffic systems is also required.
