01.Backend Engineer

PayPay India is seeking a Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team in Gurugram. In this position, you will be responsible for designing and implementing large-scale, complex systems that support our high-volume applications. Your day-to-day tasks will include developing tools, contributing to open-source projects, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our backend services. A strong emphasis is placed on problem-solving and supporting the code you write in production environments.

The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of professional experience with Java or similar programming languages such as Scala, Python, or Go. A solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming is essential. Experience with NoSQL databases, distributed caching, concurrency, and distributed computing is highly desirable. A degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience in SaaS platform development, is required.
