The Workplace Experience Lead at ShopMy is a pivotal role responsible for establishing and maintaining a dynamic and efficient office environment at the company's new headquarters in New York City. This position is integral to shaping the in-office experience for employees, visitors, and partners, ensuring that the workspace reflects ShopMy's culture and brand identity. The role involves close collaboration with the People and Workplace Technology teams to create a seamless and welcoming atmosphere.

Key responsibilities include overseeing daily office operations, managing relationships with various vendors such as cleaning, maintenance, security, and catering services, and ensuring that common areas and office supplies are well-stocked and organized. The Workplace Experience Lead will coordinate security protocols, manage visitor check-in processes, and support new hire onboarding by setting up workspaces and coordinating with IT for equipment and access. Additionally, the role involves organizing internal events, handling mail and deliveries, managing office-related communications, supervising workplace experience staff, monitoring the office budget, and proactively implementing improvements to enhance the overall office experience.

The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in office management, workplace operations, hospitality, or similar fields, preferably within a fast-growing startup or high-growth environment. Strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a proactive, resourceful mindset are essential. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities and vendors simultaneously. Candidates must be based in New York City and available to be on-site full-time at the headquarters.
