Workers' Compensation Paralegal

Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Paralegal to join our team in Louisville, Kentucky. As a key member of our legal team, you will collaborate closely with attorneys to support clients navigating workers' compensation claims, contributing to our mission of advocating for the rights of individuals.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, and complaints. Your duties will include e-filing court documents in both state and federal courts, conducting legal research, and managing discovery processes. Additionally, you will coordinate depositions, prepare trial binders and exhibits, and assist attorneys with case settlements and witness preparation.

The ideal candidate will possess an associate degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent work experience, along with a minimum of two years of litigation experience. Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program is preferred. Experience in personal injury, workers' compensation, premises liability, or related practice areas is advantageous. Strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications are essential.
