The Workers' Compensation Attorney will manage a substantial and complex caseload, handling cases and hearings on a daily basis. Responsibilities include drafting and filing litigation documents such as pleadings, discovery requests and responses, demands, motions, and memoranda. The attorney will guide clients through the case process, interact with expert witnesses—including conducting conferences and drafting expert reports and affidavits—and prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
Candidates must possess a law degree from a fully accredited law school and be an active member in good standing with the Nevada State Bar Association. A minimum of two years of workers' compensation experience is required, along with the ability to manage a high volume of cases and hearings. Excellent client service and communication skills, a self-starter attitude driven by long-term career goals, and superior writing and oral advocacy skills are essential.
