Warehouse Specialist
Wayve is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to support the daily operations of our warehouse and stores function. This role involves close collaboration with the Warehouse Manager and cross-functional teams, including AVOps, Supply Chain, and IT, to ensure efficient and accurate material management processes. The Warehouse Specialist is crucial for maintaining stock integrity, ensuring timely deliveries, and developing robust processes to support Wayve's growth.
Key responsibilities include managing and controlling inventory levels to ensure accurate and timely stock bookings, kittings, and cycle counts. The specialist will organize and label storage spaces for efficient warehouse operations and coordinate inbound and outbound shipping and receiving processes. Additionally, the role involves supporting the Warehouse Manager in ensuring that warehouse operations run efficiently and meet defined expectations.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or logistics, preferably within a high-tech or automotive R&D environment. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy are essential. The ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with multiple teams is required. Familiarity with stock management systems, ERP platforms, or warehouse management software is preferred. A proactive and adaptable approach, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, is highly valued.
