VP, Strategy & Corporate Development
Galaxy is seeking a highly motivated Vice President of Strategy & Corporate Development to join our dynamic team. This role is central to our growth initiatives, focusing on strategic planning, deal execution, and long-term value creation. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in analyzing, structuring, and supporting investments and acquisitions across our business units, with a particular emphasis on digital assets, data centers, and emerging infrastructure trends.
Key responsibilities include managing the evaluation and execution of strategic transactions such as investments, acquisitions, partnerships, and joint ventures. The role involves driving end-to-end transaction processes, including financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, deal negotiation, and integration planning. Collaboration with business unit leaders and corporate functions is essential to ensure comprehensive transaction assessments. Additionally, the VP will oversee existing strategic investments, monitor performance, prepare updates, and make recommendations to leadership. Contributing to post-acquisition integration efforts and analyzing industry trends to provide insights for leadership are also key aspects of the role.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field, with 6–10 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, private equity, venture capital, or a corporate strategy/corporate development role. A demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute with operational precision is crucial. High proficiency in financial modeling, due diligence, business case development, and strategic analysis is required. Strong communication skills, particularly in preparing materials for senior leadership, are essential. A passion for digital assets, fintech, infrastructure, and the evolving digital economy is highly valued.
