Insurance Manager (Data Center Construction)
Galaxy is seeking an experienced Insurance Manager to oversee the insurance operations for its rapidly expanding data center portfolio. This role involves managing all insurance broker relationships and implementing comprehensive coverage strategies to support the company's growth in digital assets and data center infrastructure. The successful candidate will bring institutional rigor to a fast-paced environment, ensuring robust risk management practices are in place.
Key responsibilities include managing all data center insurance policies from underwriting to claims management, collaborating with various departments to identify and address coverage gaps, and negotiating insurance-related provisions in contracts. The role also involves liaising with brokers and underwriters, overseeing insurance coverage for data center equipment throughout its lifecycle, and driving cost optimization through strategic reviews.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, or a related field, along with at least five years of experience in the construction industry, particularly in insurance management. Essential skills include a deep understanding of insurance coverage and policy structures, experience with major insurance carriers, and proficiency in managing broker relationships. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate independently in a dynamic environment are also required.
Galaxy offers a competitive base salary ranging from $115,000 to $150,000, along with a discretionary bonus.
