VP, High Touch Trading, Server Side Developer

Galaxy is seeking a Vice President, High Touch Trading Server Side Developer to join our London front office trading technology team. This role involves building and evolving server-side systems that drive our high-touch trading workflows, directly utilized by internal traders and external counterparties. Galaxy is a global leader in digital assets and data center infrastructure, delivering solutions that accelerate progress in finance and artificial intelligence.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with trading and product teams to design and maintain robust JVM-based systems supporting order management, trade execution, and real-time pricing. Responsibilities include developing and enhancing server-side applications, ensuring system reliability and performance, and integrating with various trading platforms.

Candidates should possess over 10 years of relevant development experience, with excellent core Java skills and exceptional knowledge of concurrency, multithreaded programming, and JVM performance. Experience with high-touch trading workflows, including OTC markets, block trades, and voice-assisted trading, is essential. Familiarity with Order Management Systems is also required.
