In this role, the developer will be responsible for building and optimizing low-latency trading systems that support market data ingestion, order routing, and execution. The position involves working across multiple business lines, including OTC, Market Making, Proprietary, and Systematic Trading. The developer will also leverage AI tools to enhance team performance and business outcomes, ensuring the trading systems are both efficient and scalable.
Candidates should possess excellent core Java skills, with extensive experience in Java application and garbage collection optimization. A strong understanding of concurrency and multithreaded programming is essential, along with experience in developing low-latency pricing and trading systems. Knowledge of low-latency messaging protocols, such as Aeron or 29West, and a solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/UDP, multicast, routing, and switching, are also required. Familiarity with Linux internals, including scheduling, memory management, and performance tuning, is important.
