Vice President, Senior Backend Developer - Brokerage/Crypto (Remote, Mumbai)

Galaxy is seeking a Vice President, Senior Backend Developer to join our Brokerage/Crypto team. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing robust, scalable backend systems that power our web and mobile applications. As part of a dynamic team, you will contribute to the architecture of our product offerings, supporting Galaxy's mission to innovate in the crypto economy.

In this position, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-performance backend systems, APIs, and databases. Collaboration with front-end developers, product managers, and DevOps teams is essential to ensure seamless integration and delivery of features and services. You will also implement best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment, including code reviews and automated testing frameworks.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, along with over seven years of experience in backend development, including at least two years in a senior role. Proficiency in Node.js, Express, TypeScript, and frameworks like Nest.js is required. Strong experience with SQL and familiarity with NoSQL databases, microservices, event-based architecture, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is also necessary.
