Vice President/Director, Exotic Derivatives Trader

Galaxy is seeking a Vice President/Director to join its Hong Kong office as an Exotic Derivatives Trader. This role involves collaborating with the global team to manage firmwide risk and requires a strong background and interest in crypto markets.

The successful candidate will work on the OTC Derivatives Desk, pricing and executing complex structured crypto products. Responsibilities include overseeing the entire trade lifecycle—pricing, execution, hedging, and ongoing risk management of OTC flows. Additionally, the role involves monitoring and managing Greeks and volatility exposures across a live book, building and maintaining pricing tools and models, conducting daily risk reporting and P&L attribution, and collaborating with various teams to design tailored solutions for institutional clients.

Applicants should have over five years of experience on an exotic derivatives desk at a bank, hedge fund, or crypto-native trading firm. Deep expertise in quoting and risk-managing exotic options such as European barriers, accumulators/decumulators, and autocallables is essential. A strong familiarity with mixed volatility models and their practical application to pricing and hedging is required. An advanced degree in Mathematics, Physics, Financial Engineering, or a related quantitative field is preferred. Proficiency in business English is necessary, and native Mandarin or Cantonese is a plus.
