Traffic Performance Analyst
The Traffic Performance Analyst at Bandwidth serves as a subject matter expert on customer traffic health, working under the supervision of the Risk Manager. This role requires a background in telecom or CPaaS fields and an understanding of the regulatory landscape of global voice and messaging services. The analyst coordinates internal efforts to align the business on key health metrics for both voice and messaging, managing communication related to customer traffic performance on the Bandwidth network.
Key responsibilities include leading ongoing traffic management processes and collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Legal, and Operations teams to coordinate feedback loops regarding traffic trends. The analyst provides explanations to various departments about traffic management efforts on a customer-by-customer basis, serves as a trusted resource on industry and customer use case trends, and manages the Customer Traffic Health weekly cadence by suggesting plans and actions based on traffic data.
The position requires a bachelor's degree (preferred) and a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in business risk analysis or a legal role, specifically related to the CPaaS space. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and other MS-Office applications is required. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of risk analysis related to revenue and legal implications, knowledge of telecommunications regulations and industry best practices, and the ability to make high-value decisions under pressure while working collaboratively across teams.
