Sr. Software Engineer (AI Voice & Messaging Agents)
Bandwidth is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to transform an AI voice agent platform from a working concept into a revenue-generating product. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for building the SaaS platform layer that enables the AI voice agent to function as a multi-tenant, revenue-generating product. This includes developing tenant management systems, partner APIs, configuration workflows, onboarding user experiences, and operational dashboards. The role requires working across the entire technology stack, including backend services, frontend interfaces, infrastructure, and AI pipelines, to address the highest-priority tasks without being constrained by traditional role boundaries.
Candidates must possess strong engineering fundamentals, with a deep understanding of software design, system architecture, and scalability challenges. Experience in building and launching products used by real customers, particularly in startup or high-growth environments, is essential. Proficiency with AI development tools is required, using them to enhance development speed while ensuring code quality. The ability to quickly adapt to unfamiliar domains and operate across the full stack without sacrificing quality is also crucial.
