Trading Operations - Derivatives
Galaxy is seeking an experienced professional to join its Trading Operations team, focusing on derivatives within its Swap Dealer Entity. This role is integral to ensuring accurate, compliant, and scalable execution across over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives activities. Galaxy is a global leader in digital assets and data center infrastructure, committed to transforming value movement through blockchain and digital asset innovation.
The successful candidate will manage all aspects of OTC derivative trade capture, reporting, and settlement. Responsibilities include daily interaction across multiple business units such as Trading, Operations, Lending, Derivatives, Finance, and Engineering. The role also involves identifying operational control gaps, continuously improving processes and documentation, responding to inquiries from counterparties, custodians, and brokers, and facilitating seamless settlements with OTC counterparties.
Candidates should possess over four years of back or middle office experience working directly with derivative products, including futures and options. Expertise in the trade life cycle of derivative products, trade settlements, reconciliation of trade discrepancies, and client servicing is essential. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and effective teamwork and communication skills are also required. An interest in cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology is advantageous.
Galaxy offers a competitive base salary ranging from $120,000 to $140,000, along with a discretionary bonus.
