Therapy Development Representative - Gainesville/Ocala, FL
Inspire Medical Systems Inc. is seeking a Therapy Development Representative to enhance awareness and adoption of its FDA-approved obstructive sleep apnea therapy in the Gainesville/Ocala, Florida area. This role is integral to the company's mission of improving patient outcomes through innovative sleep solutions. The representative will report to the Regional Manager and collaborate with Territory Managers to support pipeline growth and business initiatives.
The primary responsibilities include educating healthcare providers such as primary care physicians, internal medicine specialists, and cardiologists about the therapy, executing customer targeting sequences, and supporting community education programs. The role also involves conducting market assessments to identify growth opportunities, logging customer engagements in CRM systems, and providing clinical coverage as needed. Additionally, the representative will partner with Territory Managers to expand physician engagement and practice growth opportunities.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree and at least two years of experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or medical device sales. Alternatively, four years of sales experience in these industries or two years of direct experience with Inspire Medical Systems therapy in a clinical setting are acceptable. The role requires the ability to travel within the territory, including overnight stays, and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation. Physical demands include lifting and moving materials or equipment weighing up to 40 pounds and performing routine physical activities such as standing, sitting, bending, and reaching.
The compensation package includes a base salary of $105,000 per year, along with multiple health insurance plan options, employer contributions to a Health Savings Account, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits, a 401(k) plan with employer match, flexible time off, tuition reimbursement, and participation in the Employee Stock Purchase Program.
