Therapy Development Representative - Des Moines

Inspire Medical Systems, Inc. is seeking a Therapy Development Representative in Des Moines, Iowa, to promote its FDA-approved medical device for treating Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). This role is integral to the company's mission of enhancing patient outcomes through innovative sleep therapies. The representative will collaborate with Territory Managers to expand the therapy's reach and adoption within the community.

The primary responsibilities include educating healthcare providers—such as primary care physicians, internal medicine specialists, and cardiologists—about the benefits of Inspire's therapy. The representative will also execute customer targeting strategies, support referral channel growth, and organize community education programs to raise awareness about OSA and available treatments. Additionally, the role involves conducting market assessments to identify growth opportunities and maintaining accurate records of customer engagements.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree and at least two years of experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or medical device sales. Alternatively, four years of sales experience in these industries or two years of direct experience with Inspire's therapy in a clinical setting are acceptable. The role requires the ability to travel within the designated territory, including overnight stays, and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation. Physical demands include the ability to lift and move materials or equipment weighing up to 40 pounds and perform routine physical activities.

Compensation for this position includes a base salary of $105,000 per year, along with equity awards and participation in the Employee Stock Purchase Program.
