Therapy Development Representative - Columbus, OH / Charleston, WV

Inspire Medical Systems, Inc. is seeking a Therapy Development Representative to join their team in the Columbus, OH and Charleston, WV regions. This role is integral to the company's mission of enhancing the standard of care for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) through innovative solutions. As a Therapy Development Representative, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to expanding the reach and impact of Inspire's FDA-approved neurostimulation therapy.

In this position, you will be responsible for educating healthcare providers—including primary care physicians, internal medicine specialists, and cardiologists—on the benefits and implementation of Inspire's therapy for OSA. Your efforts will focus on building provider confidence, executing referral-channel growth initiatives, and supporting community education programs to increase patient identification and therapy adoption. Additionally, you will collaborate with Territory Managers to expand physician engagement and practice growth opportunities, conduct market assessments to identify growth opportunities and referral gaps, and maintain accurate records of customer engagements and physician profiles in the customer relationship management system.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree and at least two years of experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or medical device sales. Alternatively, four years of sales experience in these industries or two years of direct experience with Inspire's therapy in a clinical setting are acceptable. The role requires the ability to travel within the designated territory, including overnight stays, and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation. Physical demands include lifting and moving materials or equipment weighing up to 40 pounds and routine physical activities such as standing, sitting, bending, and reaching.
