Therapy Development Representative - Columbia, SC
Inspire Medical Systems Inc. is seeking a Therapy Development Representative in Columbia, SC, to promote their FDA-approved medical device for Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). This role focuses on increasing therapy adoption by educating healthcare providers and expanding referral networks. The representative will report to the Regional Manager and collaborate with Territory Managers to support business growth initiatives.
Key responsibilities include planning and executing weekly customer targeting sequences, educating primary care physicians, internal medicine providers, cardiologists, and other specialists on OSA management, and implementing strategies to enhance patient identification and therapy adoption. The role also involves supporting community education programs, partnering with Territory Managers to deepen physician engagement, conducting market assessments to identify growth opportunities, and maintaining accurate records of customer interactions in the CRM system.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree and at least two years of experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or medical device sales. Alternatively, four years of sales experience in these industries or two years working directly with Inspire Medical Systems therapy in a clinical setting are acceptable. The position requires the ability to travel within the territory, including overnight stays, and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation. Physical demands include lifting up to 40 pounds and performing routine physical activities such as standing, sitting, bending, and reaching.
The base salary for this position is $105,000 per year.
