Technical Support Analyst
The Technical Support Analyst at Bandwidth is responsible for providing technical assistance to customers experiencing software, hardware, or networking issues. This role is integral to ensuring customer satisfaction by resolving technical problems or escalating them to appropriate teams when necessary. Key responsibilities include identifying and troubleshooting technical issues related to networking, VoIP, HTTP messaging, 911, or Toll-Free services. The analyst will address customer inquiries through ticketing systems, phone, or email in a timely and professional manner. Additional duties involve analyzing call flows, packet captures, and system logs for faults, collaborating with customers, vendors, carriers, or internal teams to resolve issues, and testing and duplicating customer issues to validate resolutions.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, along with 1-2 years of experience in technical support or a related area. Essential skills include basic proficiency in Networking, VoIP/SIP, and SMS/MMS applications, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, multitasking capabilities in a fast-paced environment, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with attention to detail.
