Technical Recruiter
Wayve is seeking a Technical Recruiter to join our team in Sunnyvale, California. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top-tier technical and strategic talent to support our rapid growth in the Bay Area and beyond. This position specifically supports our Product & Engineering organizations, playing a critical role in building high-performing teams that drive our innovation and business impact forward.
Key responsibilities include managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to conducting interviews and extending offers, ensuring equitable hiring practices and diverse talent pipelines. You will act as a pivotal member of our Sunnyvale talent team, helping to establish and grow our local footprint in the highly competitive Bay Area market. Additionally, you will champion a world-class candidate experience by providing transparent, timely communication, constructive feedback, and a seamless interview process.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of demonstrated success in technical recruitment, ideally within deep tech, AI, autonomous vehicles, and fast-paced, scaling startup environments. A strong understanding of technical and product-focused roles is essential, along with excellent interpersonal skills to build trust and lasting relationships with candidates and senior stakeholders. Meticulous attention to detail, strong time management skills, and proficiency in leveraging data to track progress and report on recruitment metrics are also required.
This full-time role offers a competitive salary ranging from $123,000 to $175,000, plus a competitive equity package. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
