In this role, the Systems Engineer will be responsible for leading the systems engineering process across the full product lifecycle of solid rocket motor programs. Daily responsibilities include requirements management, system architecture definition, trade studies, risk assessments, and interface coordination with internal and external stakeholders. The engineer will also support testing and validation activities, ensuring deliverables meet performance, cost, and schedule commitments.
Key qualifications for this role include a bachelor’s degree or higher in aerospace, mechanical, or a related engineering field, with multiple years of experience in missile, propulsion, or space systems engineering. Candidates should have a strong understanding of systems engineering fundamentals, configuration management, and experience with hardware integration and test. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential, along with a desire to work in a fast-paced, innovative setting.
