This position involves working closely with customers to integrate, operate, test, and fly Ursa Major's propulsion systems. The engineer will be part of a dedicated team of experts, providing on-site support and technical guidance to clients.

Key responsibilities include authoring and executing integrated test procedures, conducting engine inspections, troubleshooting hardware issues, and leading multi-week test and flight campaigns at customer locations. The role also involves presenting technical reviews in customer meetings, becoming a subject matter expert on vehicle propulsion systems, and developing training materials for customers and entry-level engineers.

Candidates must possess a B.S. in Engineering and have at least one year of relevant experience. Essential skills include a passion for developing customer relationships, attention to detail, hands-on experience with aerospace hardware, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. The position requires willingness to travel up to 50% of the year for extended test and flight campaigns.

The base compensation for this role ranges from $86,000 to $107,500, determined by education, experience, and skills.
