Strategic Partnership Manager
Wayve is seeking a Strategic Partnership Manager to lead the commercial execution of our robotaxi deployments in London and Tokyo. This pivotal role involves collaborating with ride-hailing platforms, automotive OEMs, and internal teams to ensure successful pilot launches and the scaling of operations. As a key member of our Commercial & Operations team, you will contribute to advancing our mission of delivering autonomous mobility solutions on a global scale.
In this position, you will drive the commercial execution of robotaxi deployments, serving as the primary liaison with ride-hailing and ecosystem partners. Your responsibilities include overseeing technical integration, fleet ramp-up, and operational milestones to ensure launch readiness. Additionally, you will track performance KPIs, proactively manage commercial and operational risks, and coordinate cross-functionally across Engineering, Product, Safety, Operations, Policy, and Marketing to facilitate successful deployments. Supporting market expansion planning and the long-term scaling to production vehicles will also be key aspects of your role.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong ownership mindset with a proven track record of driving initiatives from strategy through execution, resulting in measurable commercial or operational impact. You should be commercially rigorous and action-oriented, with experience managing complex external partnerships and accountability for outcomes. Demonstrated ability to operate in fast-moving, ambiguous environments, bringing structure and clarity to evolving situations, is essential. Credible cross-functional leadership skills, experience in managing performance and risk, and the ability to balance long-term scaling vision with near-term delivery discipline are also required. A background of 6+ years in strategic partnerships, mobility, autonomy, AI, or technology platforms is desirable, along with experience in regulated industries or operational market launches. For the Tokyo role, a strong understanding of the Japanese market and local business culture is preferred.
