Sr. Proposal Manager
Klaviyo is seeking a Senior Proposal Manager to lead and enhance our Request for Proposal (RFP) response function within the Presales organization. This pivotal role involves collaborating across Sales, Presales, Marketing, and other departments to develop and implement strategies that improve our competitive positioning in the market.
The Senior Proposal Manager will oversee the entire RFP, Request for Information (RFI), and security questionnaire response process, from initial assessment to final submission. Key responsibilities include qualifying opportunities, drafting and refining responses, coordinating with subject-matter experts, and delivering compelling proposals that align with client needs and company objectives. Additionally, the role involves maintaining an up-to-date knowledge base of standard responses and continuously improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the proposal process.
Candidates should possess over five years of experience managing RFPs or proposals in a high-growth SaaS environment, particularly supporting enterprise or mid-market sales teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional project management skills, strong writing and communication abilities, and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams. A proactive mindset focused on process improvement and a deep understanding of enterprise buying processes are essential for success in this role.
