Peloton is seeking a Senior Director of Product Safety and Technical Compliance to lead its global Technical Product Safety organization. This role ensures that Peloton's products meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while delivering exceptional member experiences. The Senior Director will define and execute a comprehensive global product safety and regulatory compliance strategy aligned with Peloton's long-term growth objectives. This position reports directly to the VP of Global Quality and Product Safety & Regulatory Compliance.

Key responsibilities include serving as the senior technical authority and escalation leader for product safety investigations, incidents, and member-impacting events in close partnership with cross-functional teams. The Senior Director will lead the Product Investigation Council, ensuring timely, rigorous, and data-driven decision-making. They will proactively identify, assess, prioritize, and mitigate product safety risks across the product portfolio. Additionally, the role involves defining and implementing the vision, strategy, and operating model for a comprehensive Global Technical Product Safety and Regulatory Compliance program. Collaboration with leaders across Quality, Operations, Engineering, Product Management, and Customer Experience is essential to ensure end-to-end product safety and compliance across the full product lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of leadership experience in Product Safety, Regulatory Compliance, and/or Quality, with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (advanced degree preferred). Proven experience leading global, cross-functional teams across multiple products, regions, and stakeholders is required. A minimum of 5 years of experience in consumer goods (B2C) environments is essential. The candidate should have demonstrated success in developing and executing product safety and regulatory compliance strategies at scale, with strong expertise in structured problem-solving methodologies, including 8D and similar tools. Exceptional communication and influencing skills are necessary, along with the ability to align cross-functional leaders and present effectively to executive stakeholders. Experience in fitness, connected devices, or consumer electronics industries is a plus.

Compensation for this role includes a base salary range of $283,350 to $360,950 USD, along with annual equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
