Software Engineer - SMS International
As a Fullstack Software Engineer II on the SMS International team at Klaviyo, you will collaborate with a team of five engineers to expand SMS capabilities into new regions and develop Rich Communication Services (RCS) offerings. This role involves building new services, understanding their integration within the broader system, and architecting scalable solutions to meet customer needs.
Key responsibilities include designing and implementing full-stack applications, working with both monolithic and microservices architectures, and ensuring database designs can handle high query volumes. You will also be tasked with developing and maintaining continuous integration and deployment pipelines, as well as debugging and enhancing application performance.
The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience in software engineering, with proficiency in full-stack development. Experience with Python, Django, Go, React, and familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, RDS, and Aurora are essential. A strong aptitude for collaboration across teams and disciplines is also important.
