Software Engineer III, Search Platform

Box is seeking a Software Engineer III to join our Search Platform team in Warsaw, Poland. Box is a leading Content Cloud company, trusted by over 115,000 organizations worldwide, including nearly 70% of the Fortune 500. The Search Platform team is responsible for developing and maintaining the infrastructure that powers content discovery for millions of users and hundreds of billions of documents.

In this role, you will collaborate with engineers across teams in Poland and the USA to support, improve, and add new features to the Search Platform. Your day-to-day activities will include attending daily stand-ups, team meetings, and one-on-one sessions with your manager. You will also participate in planning and effectively executing project and quarterly deliverables, as well as contributing to the development and fostering of Box's culture in the newly established office.

The ideal candidate has over three years of professional software development experience, with proficiency in object-oriented languages such as Java, Scala, or C++. Hands-on experience with building highly scalable distributed systems and containerized microservices is essential. You should be oriented towards solving problems regardless of technology, possess strong communication skills, and be proficient in spoken and written English.
