Software Engineer II - Pulsar Team

Bloomreach is seeking a Software Engineer II to join the Pulsar team, responsible for developing platform and administrative services that underpin all Bloomreach SaaS products. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely from Central and Eastern Europe, with optional access to offices in Bratislava, Brno, or Prague. Bloomreach is a leader in personalization, serving over 1,400 global brands, including American Eagle, Sonepar, and Pandora.

In this position, you will design and implement features used by thousands of customers, ensuring fast and consistent product releases. Your responsibilities will include developing central services to publish Model Context Protocol APIs for external AI agents, orchestrating multi-product customer provisioning and licensing, managing integrated user authentication and authorization, and maintaining high-availability, centralized configuration management.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience developing backend services with Python across various data systems. Proficiency in web security principles, authentication, and authorization practices is essential. Experience in designing APIs for SaaS products and operating services in production on public cloud infrastructure is required. Familiarity with Java/Spring or Go, as well as exposure to frontend development with Angular or React, is advantageous.
