Senior Counsel, Commercial and Privacy (6-month Temporary)
Bloomreach is seeking a highly motivated Senior Counsel, Commercial and Privacy, for a 6-month temporary position to support its Legal Team during an employee's parental leave. This role involves managing and negotiating a variety of complex technology agreements, including SaaS Master Services Agreements, software license agreements, and non-disclosure agreements. The successful candidate will also contribute to the company's privacy and compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to both domestic and international privacy regulations.
Key responsibilities include serving as the primary legal contact for customer and vendor contracts, drafting and negotiating complex technology agreements, advising on contract status and legal risks, and participating in the development and revision of standard form agreements. The role also involves contributing to contract administration policies and practices, supporting privacy initiatives, providing legal counsel to various internal stakeholders, and managing outside counsel on diverse legal matters.
The ideal candidate will possess a J.D. degree with excellent academic credentials and be a member in good standing of a state bar association. They should have 5-8 years of commercial transactional legal experience, particularly with emerging growth technology companies, and demonstrate strong drafting and negotiation skills. The ability to balance legal risks with business concerns, think strategically, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment is essential. Experience with global privacy regulations, including the CCPA and GDPR, is highly desirable.
This full-time temporary position offers an hourly rate between $87.50 and $92.50, plus bonus, and includes benefits. The role is expected to commence in early June and conclude towards the end of 2026.
