Software Engineer II (Pulsar team)
Bloomreach is seeking a Software Engineer II to join the Pulsar team, responsible for developing platform and administrative services that underpin all Bloomreach SaaS products. In this role, you will contribute to features utilized by thousands of customers, ensuring fast and consistent product releases. The Pulsar team operates remotely across the US, India, and Europe.
As a Software Engineer II, your primary responsibilities will include developing and maintaining central services that publish Model Context Protocol APIs for external AI agents, orchestrating multi-product customer provisioning and licensing, and managing integrated user authentication and authorization systems. You will also work on high-availability configuration management and tools for new customer integration and product tuning.
The ideal candidate will have over three years of experience developing backend services with Python across various data systems. Proficiency in web security principles, authentication, and authorization practices is essential. Experience in designing APIs for SaaS products and operating services in production on public cloud infrastructure is required. Familiarity with Java/Spring or Go, as well as exposure to frontend development with Angular or React, is advantageous.
Bloomreach offers a competitive base salary ranging from $125,000 to $155,000, supplemented by bonuses and restricted stock units.
