Additionally, you will review other engineers' designs and code to provide technical feedback and improvements, contributing to the overall quality and scalability of the systems.
The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in a software engineering discipline, with proficiency in at least one modern programming language. Experience with backend, service-oriented application development and OLAP databases, including schema design, normalization/denormalization trade-offs, performance, and operations, is essential. Strong communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively within a team, and a commitment to continuous learning and problem-solving are also important. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required.
Klaviyo offers a competitive base salary ranging from $120,000 to $180,000 USD, depending on factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition to base salary, the total compensation package may include participation in the company’s annual cash bonus plan, equity, sign-on payments, and a comprehensive range of health, welfare, and wellbeing benefits based on eligibility.
Joining Klaviyo means becoming part of a company that values unique backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. The engineering culture encourages tackling tough problems, learning new technologies, and pushing each other to move out of comfort zones.
