Software Engineer II, Data Automation
As a Software Engineer II on the Data Automation team at Klaviyo, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and maintaining systems that support our mission-critical analytics infrastructure. This team focuses on developing tools that enable our Data Platform engineers to efficiently provision and test infrastructure, thereby enhancing core functionalities and generating data-driven insights. Klaviyo is a rapidly growing company that operates a real-time data platform built for massive scale on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
In this role, your primary responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to design systems, create infrastructure, write high-quality code, and operate large-scale systems in a production environment. You will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability and scalability of our analytics infrastructure, contributing to the overall performance and success of Klaviyo's data-driven initiatives.
The ideal candidate will possess a degree or equivalent experience in a software engineering discipline and be proficient in at least one modern programming language. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team are essential. A continuous learning mindset and adaptability to a high-growth environment are highly valued. Additionally, experience with AI tools and workflows, as well as a willingness to explore and integrate new technologies responsibly, will be advantageous.
Klaviyo offers a competitive base salary ranging from $116,000 to $174,000 USD, determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition to base salary, the total compensation package may include participation in the company's annual cash bonus plan, equity, sign-on payments, and a comprehensive range of health, welfare, and wellbeing benefits based on eligibility.
