Software Engineer II - Channel Rendering and Engagement
Klaviyo is seeking a Software Engineer II to join the Channel Rendering & Engagement team, responsible for the core infrastructure that transforms templates and data into messages across email, SMS, push notifications, and previews. This role involves delivering end-to-end solutions using advanced distributed systems and AI technologies to enhance product offerings and drive company growth.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining high-performance rendering pipelines, engagement tracking, and compliance-related services to ensure messages are delivered quickly, reliably, and safely. The engineer will tackle complex challenges, explore multiple solutions, and weigh business and technical trade-offs to determine the best path forward. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to unblock other teams and drive impact beyond immediate scope.
The ideal candidate has over three years of experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of building high-quality products and systems. Proficiency in distributed systems, writing clean, maintainable code, and familiarity with AI tools that enhance the software development lifecycle are required. Experience with Python, Golang, and AWS or knowledge of building cloud-native solutions is beneficial.
Klaviyo offers a competitive base salary ranging from $116,000 to $174,000, determined by factors such as job-related skills, experience, education, and work location. The total compensation package may include participation in the company's annual cash bonus plan, equity, sign-on payments, and a comprehensive range of health, welfare, and wellbeing benefits based on eligibility.
