Software Engineer - Core Reporting
Klaviyo is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Core Reporting team, which is responsible for developing and maintaining the analytics foundation that powers reporting across the entire platform. This team ensures that customers can access accurate, scalable, and actionable insights through various charts, dashboards, and reports. As Klaviyo continues to expand its services and cater to larger enterprise clients, the Core Reporting team plays a crucial role in evolving the reporting systems to support new data types and deliver high-performance analytics at scale.
In this role, the Software Engineer will be deeply involved in the technical strategy for accessing, aggregating, and presenting data across the Klaviyo platform. Responsibilities include developing full-stack solutions, from data access and storage layers to front-end experiences that make complex data intuitive and actionable. The engineer will collaborate closely with Product, Design, Data Science, and other engineering teams to shape the roadmap and technical direction of analytics at Klaviyo. Projects will focus on delivering reporting capabilities that drive customer adoption and contribute directly to the company's growth.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a full-stack engineering role, with proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python or TypeScript/React. A degree or equivalent experience in a software engineering discipline is required. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines are essential. The candidate should be adaptable to a high-growth environment and possess problem-solving skills, particularly around handling data at scale. An interest in data visualization, analytics, and AI, as well as enterprise-grade reliability and customization, is highly desirable.
Klaviyo offers a competitive base salary ranging from $116,000 to $174,000 USD, determined by factors such as job-related skills, experience, education, and work location.
