Software Engineer - Catalog Insights - Analytics
The Software Engineer position on the Catalog Insights team at Klaviyo focuses on empowering customers with data to drive sustainable business growth through efficient product placement. This team emphasizes not only analytical insights but also actionable strategies, enabling customers to transition from insights to revenue-generating marketing actions seamlessly.
In this role, the engineer will be deeply involved in technical discussions and the delivery of features that meet customer needs. Responsibilities include owning projects that align with the team's mission and roadmap, collaborating with technical product owners and managers to develop products that simplify data understanding and performance evaluation. The tech stack comprises Python, TypeScript, React, AWS, Kubernetes, Django, and Spark.
Key responsibilities involve delivering essential product capabilities for Catalog Insights to support the Marketing Analytics product, designing and building systems and data pipelines that process large volumes of data, and working cross-functionally with product, design, and data science teams to develop product requirements and technical solutions. The engineer will also own product solutions end-to-end, including technical design, implementation, maintenance, monitoring, and participation in on-call rotations.
The ideal candidate has over two years of experience working in a SaaS product in a full-stack capacity, proficiency in at least one modern programming language, and a degree or equivalent experience in a software engineering discipline. Strong communication skills, teamwork abilities, continuous learning adaptability, problem-solving persistence, and an interest in data visualization are essential.
Klaviyo offers a base salary range of £68,000 to £102,000 GBP, determined by factors such as job-related skills, experience, education, and work location. The total compensation package may include participation in the company's annual cash bonus plan, equity, sign-on payments, and a comprehensive range of health, welfare, and wellbeing benefits.
