Software Engineer (AI)
Capital on Tap is seeking a Software Engineer (AI) to join our Porto office. As part of a dedicated team of AI specialists, you will collaborate directly with product teams to develop intelligent features that enhance our financial platform. This role offers the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, with two days per week in our Matosinhos office.
In this position, you will build robust and scalable solutions technology, owning the software development lifecycle from initial coding to production, monitoring, and continuous improvement. You will partner with Product Managers, Quality Assurance professionals, and fellow Software Engineers to deliver AI-powered capabilities. Responsibilities include developing comprehensive unit and integration tests, troubleshooting and refining existing systems, and bridging the gap between technical specifications and business objectives.
The ideal candidate will have over four years of hands-on experience in C# Core, with a strong understanding of database technologies and Agile development practices. Proficiency in both unit and integration testing is essential. A passion for learning new skills and technologies, along with a proactive, supportive, and collaborative team player attitude, is highly valued.
