Software Engineer - Advanced Reporting
Klaviyo is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Advanced Reporting Team, responsible for delivering enterprise-grade, AI-powered analytics that help sophisticated brands understand their business, make confident decisions, and take action directly within the Klaviyo platform. This team builds curated and customizable reporting experiences that serve customers with complex data, multiple channels, and advanced analytical needs. The role involves collaborating closely with Product, Design, and cross-functional partners to ensure that insights are operationalized, connecting analytics directly to action.
In this position, you will be deeply involved in the technical strategy behind accessing, aggregating, and presenting data at scale across the Klaviyo platform. You will own projects that contribute to driving adoption and retention of Marketing Analytics, building reporting capabilities that are key reasons customers purchase and expand with Klaviyo. The role encompasses full-stack development, from data access and storage layers that power enterprise-grade analytics to front-end experiences that make complex data intuitive and actionable. The tech stack includes Python, TypeScript, React, AWS, and Django.
The ideal candidate has over 2 years of experience working in a full-stack capacity and is proficient in at least one modern programming language, with Python or TypeScript/React being a plus. A degree or equivalent experience in a software engineering discipline is required. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, as well as the ability to work effectively with product, design, and data stakeholders. The candidate should be adaptable to a high-growth environment, capable of solving difficult problems, particularly around data at scale, and excited to work at the intersection of data visualization, analytics, and AI.
Klaviyo offers a comprehensive compensation package, including a base salary ranging from $116,000 to $174,000, participation in the company's annual cash bonus plan, equity opportunities, and a comprehensive range of health, welfare, and wellbeing benefits based on eligibility.
