SEO Specialist, Thailand (12 Month Contract)
Canva is seeking a dedicated SEO Specialist to join its International SEO team in Thailand on a 12-month contract. This role focuses on enhancing Canva's online presence by building high-quality backlinks and exploring brand mention opportunities within the Thai market. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Thailand SEO Country Lead and the Global Outreach Lead to execute local strategies and contribute to global coordination efforts.
Key responsibilities include planning and executing link-building campaigns, researching and prioritizing potential backlink opportunities, and managing outreach workflows from initial contact to relationship maintenance. The role also involves writing personalized outreach communications, building authentic relationships with publishers and content creators, and ensuring all backlinks meet Canva's quality standards. Additionally, the SEO Specialist will monitor link placements for compliance and longevity, report on progress toward goals, and contribute insights to performance reviews.
The ideal candidate is a native Thai speaker with business-level English proficiency and a deep understanding of Thailand's digital publishing landscape. They should possess 1-2 years of experience in link building, digital PR, or content marketing, along with a basic understanding of search engine operations and high-quality backlink criteria. Familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Google Search Console, or Screaming Frog is advantageous. Strong relationship-building skills, excellent written communication, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset are essential for success in this role.
