Senior UX Designer
As a Senior UX Designer at Twitch, you will join the UX Community team, focusing on enhancing streamer creation and viewer engagement experiences across our product ecosystem. Twitch is the world's largest live streaming service, fostering global communities centered around gaming, entertainment, music, sports, cooking, and more. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a cross-platform live streaming service that supports the growth and development of streamer-based communities.
In this position, you will collaborate with a cross-functional development team comprising product managers, engineers, and designers. Your responsibilities will include conducting hands-on research to understand the needs and desires of streamers and viewers, thinking creatively to solve problems that sustain streamers' communities, and contributing to the design community at Twitch by utilizing and improving existing patterns and approaches. Additionally, you will combine qualitative and quantitative information to develop hypotheses about customer motivations and present your work in design reviews and feedback sessions.
The ideal candidate will have over five years of practical experience in UX design, with an emphasis on content discovery and engagement experiences. Demonstrated skills in interaction design, visual craft, and prototyping mobile experiences are essential. Experience collaborating closely with other designers, researchers, product managers, and engineers, as well as the ability to impact product strategy and roadmaps, are also required. Proficiency with Figma and a strong aesthetic sense are important, along with empathy for the people using your software or products.

The base salary range for this position varies by location, with compensation determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and location. For example, in Seattle, WA, the annual salary ranges from $137,800 to $186,400 USD, while in San Francisco, CA, it ranges from $156,400 to $211,600 USD.
