Senior UX Designer
Twitch is seeking a Senior UX Designer to join its UX Community team, focusing on enhancing streamer creation and viewer engagement experiences across its product ecosystem. This role involves leading design initiatives at the program level, collaborating with senior cross-functional partners, representing work to executive leadership, and mentoring junior designers. The position reports directly to the Community Director of Design.
In this role, you will collaborate with a cross-functional development team comprising product managers, engineers, and designers. Responsibilities include learning from streamers and viewers about their use of Twitch services, thinking creatively to solve problems that sustain streamers’ communities, contributing to the design community by utilizing and improving existing patterns, combining qualitative and quantitative information to develop hypotheses about customer motivations, and presenting work through design reviews and feedback sessions. Additionally, you will mentor and grow junior designers, instilling best practices within the team.
The ideal candidate has over 5 years of practical experience in UX design, with an emphasis on content discovery and engagement experiences. Essential skills include demonstrated interaction design and visual craft abilities, experience with prototyping mobile experiences, collaboration with other designers, researchers, product managers, and engineers, the ability to impact product strategy and roadmaps, a strong aesthetic sense, and empathy for users. Proficiency with Figma is required.

The base salary range for this position varies by location, with annual salaries ranging from $137,800 to $211,600, depending on the city.
