Senior UX Designer
SeatGeek, a company dedicated to modernizing the ticketing industry, is seeking a Senior UX Designer to join their user experience team in New York, New York. This role focuses on enhancing live event experiences by creating intuitive and engaging user interfaces. The Senior UX Designer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, product marketing, and customer success, to develop cohesive strategies that align with SeatGeek's mission.
In this position, the Senior UX Designer will be responsible for deeply understanding the needs, motivations, and behaviors of fans, sellers, teams, and artists. They will set direction by creating clear and impactful strategies, balancing speed and quality to drive impact through both optimizations and new product development. The role also involves demonstrating outstanding design skills and a passion for experimentation, data, and systems thinking, as well as collaboratively improving component systems to ensure consistent, high-quality experiences.
Candidates should have over four years of experience in UX design, with excellent craftsmanship and an understanding of the technical and logistical obstacles that create friction during live experiences. A mindset of a challenge, changemaker, and innovator is essential, along with the ability to work with at least four hours of overlap with a 9:30 am to 5:30 pm East Coast workday. A passion for live experiences is also a key requirement.
The compensation package includes a salary range of $130,000 to $188,000 USD, along with equity eligibility. Additional benefits encompass a flexible work environment, allowing for both in-office and remote work, a work-from-home stipend, unlimited paid time off, up to 16 weeks of fully paid family leave, 401(k) matching, student loan matching, health, vision, dental, and life insurance, and up to $25,000 towards family building, reproductive health services, and gender-affirming care.
