Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack
SeatGeek is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack to join their team in New York, New York. This role involves collaborating with design and product teams to enhance SeatGeek's platform, ensuring it remains fast, reliable, and user-friendly. As a member of the engineering team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the ticketing industry.
In this position, you'll work closely with the design team and product managers to transform ideas into features that delight users. Your responsibilities will include mentoring and guiding web engineers across the organization, fostering a culture of growth and excellence. Additionally, you'll contribute to refining the front-end technology strategy and stack, ensuring the platform's scalability and performance.
The ideal candidate will have over five years of professional experience in frontend software engineering, with a proven track record of leading product initiatives from inception to completion. Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript is essential, along with experience in modern frameworks and client-side rendering techniques. While familiarity with TypeScript, React, and Next.js is beneficial, it's not a strict requirement. Strong UI and product instincts are crucial, as is the ability to build inclusive and accessible web experiences. Experience in architecture and performance optimization, including troubleshooting distributed systems and enhancing performance, is also important.
Compensation for this role includes a salary range of $144,000 to $209,000 USD annually, with eligibility for equity and a discretionary annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
