The Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) at OpenTable will lead the planning, development, and execution of key technical projects across product and engineering teams. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless roadmap alignment, milestone tracking, and risk management, thereby advancing both engineering and business strategies. The TPM will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives forward.

Key responsibilities include partnering with product and engineering leaders to establish program planning, proactively managing risks, setting clear objectives, and ensuring strategic goals are met. The TPM will lead transformation initiatives, develop strategic roadmaps for partner programs, and foster engineering excellence by advocating for reliable software systems and enhanced developer productivity. Engagement with partners across Software Engineering, Platform Infrastructure, Quality, and Infosec is essential to craft solutions that strengthen OpenTable's software quality.

Candidates should have 6-10 years of experience in software development program management across cross-functional projects, with at least 5 years in a program management role. Expertise in Agile methodologies and tools, the ability to navigate software engineering challenges, and experience coordinating release schedules and building sustainable processes are required. Hands-on expertise in automation and scripting is also necessary. Experience in third-party integration, API integrations, and lifecycle management, as well as using AI to solve business problems, is preferable but not mandatory.

OpenTable offers a comprehensive benefits package, including the flexibility to work from almost anywhere for up to 20 days per year. The company emphasizes mental health and well-being, providing company-paid therapy sessions through SpringHealth and a subscription to Headspace. Employees enjoy an annual company-wide week off to recharge, generous paid vacation, time off for birthdays, paid parental leave, and paid volunteer time. Career growth is supported through development dollars, leadership development programs, and access to thousands of on-demand e-learnings. Additional perks include travel discounts, employee resource groups, quarterly team offsites, tax optimization options, generous health insurance, and a pension fund.

OpenTable fosters a global and dynamic work environment, accommodating a workforce operating across multiple time zones. While most responsibilities align with conventional business hours, there may be instances requiring communication outside regular working hours to collaborate with international colleagues or address urgent matters. The company is committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels they belong and can thrive, building a team as dynamic as the diners and restaurants it serves, and fostering a culture where everyone feels welcome to be themselves.
